Primary responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and patient assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries across a diverse patient population.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory, X-ray, and EKG studies.
- Perform common office procedures, including suturing, splinting, and wound care.
- Prescribe medications within California scope-of-practice requirements.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and document encounters accurately in the EHR.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted California PA or NP license and applicable national certification.
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational medicine, or family practice experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and proficiency with common outpatient procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work efficiently in a collaborative setting.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
